2017 Summarised

So what have we been up to and where have we been this summer? Well it has been a very busy summer that is for sure!  The British summer officially started on the 21st of June, however our busy summer started way before then. Since the beginning of May we have had bookings every weekend taking as around our beloved home county Hampshire as well as taking us to London, Surrey, Oxford, Dorset, Wiltshire and Devon.

One of the first events we did that really felt like summer was our visit to Winchester Rugby club for a kids presentation night. The Sun was out allowing children to play outside on the bouncy castle whilst the parents made the most of the Photobooth early in the night. As it got darker the kids came inside and made FULL use of the Photobooth. Are booth attendants Dave and Rosie were kept busy for sure, however it was a lovely way to start the summer.

A week later we visited Farnham House hotel which is a very picturesque old hotel in the heart of Farnham where we were providing a Photobooth at the wedding reception. Another great night had by all in a stunning venue. The week after would see us do a 6th birthday party and a 60th birthday party in the same day, both in Farnham which worked really well for us. This really proved to us that the Photobooth can be used and enjoyed by all ages.

Into June we continued to attend many weddings with our booth including a trip down to Devon one weekend as well as nice local wedding at Romsey Golf Club for us. Other stand out events in June included the Oxford University Summer ball which took place at Hensor House. For anyone that has been to Hensor house they will know how beautiful the house itself is as well as the grounds that surround it. The summer ball was a great night, despite being warned by the staff on arrival that the students were far too drunk and the party itself may have to be shut down. We had no such problems as the guests continued to party the night away whilst taking many drunken photos in the Photobooth.

July was our busiest month to date as we continued our tour of Hampshires wedding venues. However we started the month by taking the Photobooth to Fairthorne Manor (in Botley near Southampton) who were hosting a charity event for the nations young carers. It was a fantastic event seeing so many inspirational young people and one that we hope to do again next year. Other events we attended in July were a 50th birthday party at Totton and Eling cricket club, a belated 21st birthday party in Yately, a wedding at the Gran de Vere hotel in Southampton, an end of school year 6 party in the new forest as well as other parties and weddings in Basingstoke and Winchester.

August has continued to be just as busy with 3 events the first weekend. We had the Vigar wedding on Friday

the 4th of August in Whitchurch at the clock barn which was stunning. Would advise anyone looking for wedding venues to visit here :) Other events that weekend took us to Goals in Southampton for a 21st birthday party and then to Basingstoke on the sunday for another kids party. Another stand out event for us in August has to be the wedding held at The Beaulieu hotel in the New Forest. The guests were amazing as were the bride and groom, there was a queue for the booth all night.

All in all it has been a very busy summer for us here at Hampshire Photobooths. September seems to be just as busy before we quieten down before the christmas party season. However the hard work never stops as we are picking up another Photobooth to add to our collection next week as well as a candy cart and large LED LOVE letters. Look out for some great deals on packages with LOVE letters, candy cart and Photobooth hire as well as a new Pricelist that will come out in September.
